Listen

In the day and age of terminally online, of always going, of always moving, of always doing, of just one more prompt, stopping, or knowing when to stop, is the superpower.

Less insights, less development, may be found in the noise than are found in the quiet, or than may be found where the birds sing. A book in my hands. A pen and paper at my desk. What I need and what I believe many of us need is the silence. To be terminally attached is only draining, it is only dulling the mind and clarity.

Endurance is the goal before me. To be consistent day after day after day after day after day is to be balanced and in that balance we find the extreme outlier. Listen where the birds sing.
